These terms govern use of the Devil-Guard website, Devil-Guard PC protection client and services provided through participating Devil-Guard Server installations. Server operators may publish additional game rules.
Provide accurate registration information, keep passwords and personal client tokens private, and do not share an identity or token to bypass restrictions. Server Host, Council and Admin roles are privileged and may not be self-assigned.
Do not intentionally use cheats, injected code, unauthorised runtime hooks, modified protected files, identity evasion or tools designed to defeat Devil-Guard protection on a participating server.
If you install and configure Devil-Guard PC, its Sentinel service monitors the configured DFBHD process while that process is running. Core protection detections may be reported to the Devil-Guard website even when the game is connected to a non-Devil-Guard server. Enhanced evidence is a separate option.
Participating servers may automatically deny, kick or restrict a connection when configured protection or network rules are triggered. Enforcement is scoped to the participating server and its DFBHD connection.
Eligible restrictions can be appealed. A final council outcome may overturn the restriction or leave it in place. Detailed case evidence is then minimised under the published retention policy while a compact ban history remains.
Devil-Guard can record a PC detection while DFBHD is running elsewhere, but it cannot kick, firewall-ban or administratively control a third-party server that does not participate in Devil-Guard.
Do not use Devil-Guard to obtain unauthorised access to another computer, intercept private communications, harass another person or collect unrelated information. Server operators are responsible for using their administration powers lawfully.
Security rules, supported game builds, service features and these terms can change. Material changes should be clearly published and, when appropriate, users may be asked to acknowledge a new version.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, privacy right or other statutory right that applicable law does not allow Devil-Guard to exclude, restrict or modify.
If you are not old enough or otherwise legally able to agree to these terms in your location, a parent or legal guardian must provide any approval required by applicable law. Privacy rights are not waived by accepting these terms.
